Three clips - first of a visit to Tower Records in Shinjuku; then a look at a small crowd that had assembled to watch a street performer in Nishi-Shinjuku; and finally a look out the cab of a Seibu-Kokubunji Line train as it neared Kokubunji.
"Tower Records Lives On in Tokyo" (100302-1850)
Tower Records has ceased to exist in the land it began in, but it continues to do business in Tokyo. This clip was taken on the J-Pop floor on the day a popular singer's new CD was released.

"Shinjuku Street Performer Doing... Something..." (100302-2201)
I got tired of waiting in the cold before I figured out what this guy was doing. It's interesting how big of a crowd assembles when someone is about to do something that people can't imagine - so they stop to find out what - whether it's interesting or not. On the other hand, some really good street musical performances are often ignored because people can see what it is: "Someone playing music"....

"Seibu-Kokubunji Line Train Nears Kokubunji" (100303-1344)
Looking out the right side of the cab of a Seibu-Kokubunji Line train as it nears Kokubunji Station (just before the two tracks merge into one).
