"Half-Fallen Sakura Petals in Park" (100413-1204)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abxIf5RtHdk
Walking down a road in a park in which half the flower petals from the overhead sakura trees have fallen. At this point, the trees aren't looking as good as they did just a day or two before. When they look like this, the sakura viewing season is pretty much over.

"Ginza Chuo-dori Walk" (100413-1316)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCs2xmOwHtw
Walking along the Chuo-dori main street in Ginza. There used to be more small shops even on the main streets - but as they continually demolish small buildings and put up ever larger ones, Ginza loses more and more of its soul. If the trend continues, one part of Tokyo will be just about the same as any other part. No need to worry about a Godzilla monster coming up from the sea - the country is already being continually torn apart by the construction industry! A city needs new construction to survive of course, but Japan in general (and Tokyo in particular) would be better if a little more of its past was preserved....
