"Ueno - Last Trip to See Sakura Trees in Bloom in 2010"

This set of clips begins with walking down a platform at Ueno Station, continues with clips in Ueno Park (at night) of the sakura viewing parties, and ends with a view of passing trains from the roof a park-side building that it looks like it is about to be torn down.

Walking down the Yamanote Line platform at Ueno Station while on my way to see the sakura tree scene in Ueno Park.

Exploring the upper level of Ueno Station - walking down a long, narrow passageway that connects two major sections of the station - just before going to see the sakura tree scene in Ueno Park.

Exiting "Koen-kaisatsu" (Park Exit) at Ueno Station, on my way to check out the Sakura flower viewing scene on a Friday evening towards the end of the week or so that the cherry blossom flowers were in bloom.

"Quiet Corner of Ueno Park - Hanami 2010" (100409-1951)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nt-6_HHVuYA

A quiet corner of Ueno Park away from the noisy crowds out to see the sakura blossoms.  About the only people here were the people in the restaurant (right side of picture).  People congregate where the largest number of sakura trees are, but this was a much nicer-looking scene.

Springtime Friday night revelers under the sakura trees in Ueno Park.  This was towards the end of viewing season for the flowers, which were only in bloom for a couple of weeks.

Only one part of the long row of sakura trees in Ueno Park was well-lit, and so it was there that people stopped to take pictures.

"Vertical Ueno View from Condemned Building Roof" (100409-2044)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-QgajrdOQo

Standing on the roof of a condemned building that used to have restaurants within it and souvenir shops on the first floor.  Since the roof matches up exactly with the ground level of the park, it doesn't seem like a roof when you walk onto it from the park.  The new building with the colorfully lit edge is the new Yodobashi Camera in Ueno.

"Passing Trains Seen from Ueno Park Roof" (100409-2046)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6OEhWJ_dTg

Watching three trains pass by from the roof of the old building that is shut down and looks as though they are about to tear it down.  The brightly lit edge of a new building that you can just see on the right side of the frame is the new Yodobashi Camera store in Ueno.
